Mountain Thunder Lodge sits directly across from the Breckenridge Gondola — which means Main Street dining, shopping, festivals, and the base of the mountain are all within a five-minute walk in any direction. In summer, that location is the centerpiece of every day here. No car needed. No shuttle required. Everything Breckenridge offers in July and August is right outside the front door. Suite 1215 is a second-floor corner suite, recently renovated and available exclusively through Gilson Group. It is also the only unit at Mountain Thunder Lodge with air conditioning — a split unit in the living area that comfortably covers the entire suite. At elevation in Colorado, summer afternoons can surprise you. This unit handles it. Corner units at Mountain Thunder are meaningfully different from standard units — more windows, more natural light, enhanced privacy, and views of both the mountain and the town that interior-facing units simply don't have. Excellent accommodation with convenient access to Gondola, Free Bus and Main St restaurants. The unit has good views and a lot of light. It was pretty comfortable for a family of four. We enjoyed our two week ski trip in December for the holiday break. The unit is clean and was renovated.

We had such a wonderful stay in Breckenridge! From the start, the Gilson was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even making check-in at 1:00 a.m. seamless after our late flight. The condo itself was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located — just a short walk to town. We especially loved the patio overlooking the gondola and town with gorgeous mountain views. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after exploring, and having such a clean, comfortable space to come back to made our trip even better. We’re so grateful for the flexibility, quick communication, and all the thoughtful touches that made our stay feel easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming condo. It's very convenient to the gondola and downtown Breckenridge. I especially loved the large balcony. The condo is very comfortable. The Gilson Property Group was very responsive, supportive, and courteous. The front desk staff was consistently friendly. I highly recommend this condo!
