Before your stay, we'll ask you to complete a quick identity verification through our guest portal — it takes just a few minutes and ensures every Gilson stay is seamless and secure. A valid driver's license and rental agreement are all that's needed to confirm your check-in details. A $250 security deposit is collected prior to arrival — similar to a hotel holding a credit card on file — and released in full after checkout once all access items are returned. Guests may also choose a non-refundable Damage Waiver instead, selected during the pre-arrival verification process. Our guest portal is also where the good stuff lives: private chef, grocery and alcohol delivery, airport transportation, welcome kits, in-home spa services, early check-in and late checkout, guided excursions, and local recommendations — all available to browse and book at your convenience, before or during your stay. The primary renter must be 25 or older.

Guest Access

As our guest at River Mountain Lodge, you’ll have full access to all River Mountain Lodge amenities during your stay, including the hot tubs, heated pool, ski/bike storage, fitness center, restaurant/bar, and family-friendly activities. Free garage parking is included for one vehicle. Your stay includes access through electronic key cards and/or parking passes provided during check-in. A refundable security deposit of $250 will be collected through our secure verification partner prior to your arrival, covering potential replacement fees. This deposit is entirely refundable upon returning all key cards at check-out. Please note that if multiple cards are not returned, additional fees will be incurred.
